CRAWFORD â€” The funeral for Misty Glenn Gentry will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Bethesda Baptist Church here.
Burial will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery near Crawford. Bro. Allen Dees will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Cockrell Funeral Home in Macon, which is handling the arrangements.
Miss Gentry died Friday, July 30, 2010, at her home in Crawford. She was 34. A native of Keokuk, Iowa, she was an artist and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Crawford.
The funeral for Will Rush Leonard will be today at 11 a.m. at First John Baptist Church in Starkville with burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Starkville. The Rev. Therman Cunningham will officiate.
Visitation was held Friday at Century Hairston Funeral Home in Columbus and will be held today from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First John Baptist Church.
Mr. Leonard, 76, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Starkville Manor Nursing Home.
Century Hairston Funeral Home of Columbus will be in charge of funeral arrangements.

Chelsea Renee Rice, daughter of Leo and tanya Rice of Starkville, has been selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Mississippi Scholarship and Recognition Program to be held this weekend at the Summit Center in Tupelo.
Rice is a student at East Oktibbeha County Elementary School. She is the granddaughter of the late John Tate Sr., Della Tate, the late Leo Rice Sr., and Annie Rice.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Irene Ray and the late Mr. Elbert Ray, Sr. of Sturgis and the late Peary and Alma Rose of Starkville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Blaine of McCool. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James K. Godfrey of McAdams and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Blaine of McCool.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Burtt of Ocean Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of Mrs. Burtt's daughter, Lindsey Morgan Phillips, to Andrew Mark Abernathy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Abernathy of Starkville.
Phillips is also the daughter of Preston Phillips of Ocean Springs.
