Amory – Robert Marcellus Ledbetter, father, grandfather, and brother, died on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Oaktree Plantation after an extended illness.
Jennie Ladell McMinn Tomlinson, 84, of Starkville, died Saturday, Jan. 1, at OCH Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Larry and Brenda Hand of Meridian, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Karen E. Hand to Phillip L. Hartness, son of Ron and Virginia Hartness of Starkville.
The Starkville Civic League met on October 26 at Cadence Bank. Our hostesses for the meeter were: Mary Ann Fuller, Bettye Duncan and Opelia Reed. The table was decorated beautifully as usual.
