JACKSON – The Eupora Eagles may have lost a 35-0 decision to the Bassfield Yellow Jackets in the Class 2A State championship Friday, but Eupora coach Junior Graham had nothing but good things to say about his team.
His team may have come in second place, but when looking at Friday’s game and the entire season, he was proud of his guys and their efforts.
JACKSON – Friday’s class A state championship game was nothing short of thrilling as for four quarters French Camp and Stringer went back and forth scoring with the Red Devils, ultimately coming out on top with a 20-17 victory.
Mississippi State and Providence have very similar basketball teams.
Both only have nine eligible players for today's SEC-Big East Challenge in Providence, R.I.

WEST POINT – The Starkville Lady Yellowjackets came out with a defensive mindset from the very beginning against the West Point Lady Green Wave Friday night.
Starkville put the clamps on West Point, especially in the second half, and left Clay County with a 66-37 victory.
