It has been a rough past few weeks for the Mississippi State men's basketball team.
The Bulldogs have lost nine-straight games after opening up 2-0 in Southeastern Conference play.
MSU head coach Rick Ray wants his team to finish strong, but he knows to do that it has to find a way to stay in the game early.
It was unclear going into the season if the offense was going to be one of the strong points for the Mississippi State baseball team coming into the 2013 season.

CANTON – It wasn't the type of start that the Starkville Lady Yellowjackets were looking for, but the finish was more to their liking.
Even though the Lady Jackets lost a 58-51 decision to homestanding Canton in the finals of the Class 5A, Region 3 Tournament, they came back to make a run, only to see it fall a bit short.

Starkville Electric Department finished the first phase of its fiber optic network installation in December, which will allow for customers to monitor their use of electricity. In the coming months, many Starkville residents will also be able to monitor their gas usage when the installation of a similar system is complete.
