MSU shuffles pitching slots for weekend

Mississippi State baseball coach John Cohen has been looking for more consistency from his starting pitching.
This weekend he will shuffle things around and try to find the rotation that will give the Bulldogs a chance at winning a Southeastern Conference series.

Yellowjackets lose to Rockets at home

When Brian Jones left Neshoba Central to become the head coach at Starkville High School, he knew he was leaving behind a good team.
It was evident Thursday night as the Rockets beat the Yellowjackets 4-2 at Yellowjacket Stadium/Danny Carlisle Field.

East Webster opens division slate with a victory

MATHISTON – Today might be what is called Good Friday, but Thursday evening was pretty good for the East Webster Lady Wolverines on the softball field.
In the opening game of Class 2A, Region 3, District 4 play, the team defeated the Lady Lions of Hamilton 5-2.
