Bulldog's Graveman, Girodo and Frazier taken in MLB draft

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – A day after Hunter Renfroe saw his name called in the first round, he saw three of his teammates experience the same excitement he did of being drafted.
Mississippi State junior shortstop Adam Frazier was drafted in the sixth round by the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday.

Down to business: Bulldogs ready to shake off distractions against Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Mississippi State baseball team has endured a good deal of distractions over the last few days.
The No. 12 (Collegiate Baseball) Bulldogs feel like they've put all those behind them and are ready for this weekend.
MSU takes on No. 6 Virginia this weekend in the Charlottesville Super Regional.

US jobless rate rises during May

Employers across America added 175,000 jobs in May, according to the monthly U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report released on Friday.
The additions edged out most analyst predictions and represented some growth from April’s revised 149,000 jobs number, but continued a trend of largely unremarkable job growth.

NCAA hits MSU with sanctions
