Oktibbeha County School District Conservator Margie Pulley laid out final preparation plans for state tests at the district’s meeting Monday and said the replacement of an assistant superintendent who resigned in February would wait until after those tests.

Jackets receive State title rings

It may have been April Fool's Day on Monday, but the Starkville High School football team experienced something that was no joke and very real.
They got to see it, feel it and wear it.
The Yellowjackets were presented their Class 5A State championship rings during a ceremony at Meadowview Baptist Church.

Mary Stubbs

Mary Gray Gieger Stubbs passed away on March 29, 2013, at Gilda’s Place in Ridgeland. She was 97 years old.

She was a homemaker, teacher and business book keeper. Mary Gray was a member of First Methodist Church of Starkville.
