Mitchell restores winning tradition with SHS squad

It was the desire of football coach Jamie Mitchell to restore a winning tradition when he was hired at Starkville High School in 2010.
That mission has been accomplished.
In the four years prior to Mitchell's arrival in Starkville, the Yellowjackets had a combined record of 20-28 during that time.

Graham enjoys ride on way to 150 wins

EUPORA – It was 14 years ago when Junior Graham took his first head coaching job.
Since that time, he has enjoyed multiple successes on the football field.
This past Friday as Eupora defeated South Delta in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs, Graham got one of his biggest accomplishments in the form of his 150th career victory.

Tough competition sent MSU's way once again

Mississippi State has faced some tough competition this season.
Of the Bulldogs' five losses, four of the opponents were ranked when they beat MSU. The fifth, Auburn, is now ranked seventh and still in control of their own destiny in the Southeastern Conference Western Division.
