Lady Jackets fall to Lady Cougars

It wasn't the way the Starkville Lady Yellowjackets wanted to start the new year on Friday night.
The Northwest Rankin Lady Cougars secured a first-quarter lead against Starkville and didn't give it up for the rest of the game.
The Lady Jackets ended up losing their first Class 6A, Region 3 game of the season to the Lady Cougars 76-67.

On Friday night, the Lady Jackets executed that metaphor beautifully as they moved the ball around, set up all the right shots, including 38 shots on goal, and ultimately defeated the visiting Lady Falcons of Columbus 9-0 in a Class 6A, Region 3 match.
