MABEN – West Oktibbeha is part of an extremely tough district.
On Saturday evening, the Lady Timberwolves tipped off with one of those opponents in West Lowndes where they lost 44-40.
West Lowndes took control from the very beginning outscoring West Oktibbeha 6-3 in the first period.

Robert Madison Farrar, Jr., 79, passed away on January 28, 2014 at his residence in Starkville,MS. He was a Research Forester with the U.S. Forest Service. He received his B.S. Degree with honors from Auburn University, his Masters from Yale University, and his Doctorate from the University of Georgia.  He was an avid outdoorsman.

Starkville Academy boys defeat Washington School

Success was on the side of the Starkville Academy Volunteers Friday night.
In what some might not have called the prettiest game, the Volunteers defeated Washington School 43-31.
“I just thought it was ugly,” Starkville Academy coach Mark Alexander said. “It got to be an ugly game, a Helter Skelter game, and that sort of played a part in it.”
