Benton Armstrong Vizzier, age 96, of Fayetteville passed away, May 11, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born December 25, 1918 in Gillett, Arkansas to James and Aveline Bergschneider Vizzier.
 

Pauline "Polly" Felder Brantley

Funeral services for Pauline "Polly" Felder Brantley of Starkville, formerly of Kilmichael, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, at Kilmichael United Methodist Church in Kilmichael, with burial following in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. 
Rev. Burt Felder and Mr. Albert Brantley will officiate the services.
 

Hattiesburg officer laid to rest

The body of Starkville native Liquori Tate returned to Starkville for burial at Fox Cemetery on May 16.
"Leaving out of Hattiesburg, it brought everyone to tears." said Vern Ross, Tate's uncle.

Man receives 30 years for burglaries, kidnapping during court term

DePriest Gray, of West Point, received a 30-year sentence with 10 suspended, 20 to serve, in the Mississippi Department of Corrections after submitting a guilty plea during the Oktibbeha County Circuit Court's April and May term.
Gray, 29, faced a charge of burglary and larceny of a dwelling, kidnapping, armed robbery and three counts of burglary of a dwelling.
