Mike Tagert of Starkville will face John M.M. Caldwell Sr. today in a runoff special election for Northern District transportation commissioner.

The Starkville Board of Aldermen is scheduled to adopt its updated strategic plan for the city during its regular meeting tonight.
Former worldwide head of television for the William Morris Agency will be on hand to answer questions and discuss his Hollywood experiences as part of this year’s Magnolia Film Festival.

Collecting data and highlighting the best practices for improving the lives of Mississippi children have been major priorities for the Mississippi Kids Count program.
Will Christiansen, Oktibbeha County 4-H’er won first place in the Northeast District 4-H Livestock Show – Lamb 10-13 year old Showmanship Class. This was held in Verona on Jan. 21.
