I got a big dose of déjà vu yesterday while standing in a long grocery line.
I had three items — a bottle of Clairol, some wrinkle cream and the economy size of ginkgo biloba — nary a thing to eat. That’s what happens when you grow older — food no longer matters as long as you can afford every new anti-aging product that comes down the pike.

For 11 Mississippi State University fine arts students, years of creative expression and hard work comes down to their much-anticipated thesis exhibition debuting Tuesday.
Art student Jesse Thames said the show's title, "Commune," expresses unity and communication through a diverse amount of individuals.

Arts and crafts will not be the only thing selling out Friday during First United Methodist Church's annual Christmas Handworks Bazaar.
Once again, members of FUMC Starkville are pulling out their best recipes in anticipation for the hungry crowds sure to gather in the church's Christian Life Center.

It was only day one of the Southern Foodways Alliance Symposium, though the fun was well underway with all the hoopla of the night before: food movie, food music, food fashion, food photography, and dinner (also food).Â
This day would prove to be just as fulfilling. Full and filling. What great words for this day.
