TUPELO — Saturday morning, Lynda Langerfeld won the victory in her courageous battle with multiple sclerosis and went to her new heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

KOSCUISKO — J.W. Blasingame, 86, retired insurance agent, died on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010 at the Mississipi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. The graveside service was Monday at 10 a.m.

Dr. T. W. Rankin, 91 passed away at his residence in Starkville, on Friday, September 17, 2010.

One of eight children, Dr. T.W. Rankin grew up on a farm in Mendenhall, where he attended school, and graduated in 1937 as valedictorian and president of his senior class.

William Ralph Parks, 57, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.

MATHISTON — The funeral for Leonard Cork will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reform Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Robinson’s Chapel Cemetery in Choctaw County.
The funeral for Lillie B. Cornie will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brownridge M.B. Church with burial in Brownridge Cemetery.
