Mr. Floyd R.(Doc) Sides, 93, Starkville, MS passed away at OCH Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 21, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He was a member of Adaton Baptist Church and a retired truck driver with Mississippi State Receiving Department.
Services were held at Hulett-Winstead Chapel on Thursday,
March 12, 2015 for Mr. Ronald Craig Williamson, 54, of Millbrook,
He died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Brookwood Medical
Center in Birmingham, AL. Interment was in Society Hill
Cemetery in Oak Vale, MS.
Mr. Williamson was a facility planner with the Veteranâ€™s Administration
for 28 years and was a member of Glynwood Baptist
Charles David Whitehead, 93, passed away surrounded by close family on Friday, March 6 in Franklin, TN. He was born in Greenwood, MS on August 8, 1921, and at age 18 joined the United States Army Air Corps. He was a Master Sergeant and a flight engineer on a B-29 in World War II.Â His plane was hit and the pilot killed; the crew survived by ejecting over Iwo Jima.
Robert Richard Regl (Bob), age 80, died March 7, 2015, at home following a lengthy illness.Â
Mr. Carl V. Powers,59, of Starkville, Mississippi died Wednesday, March 3, 2015 in Meridian, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, Starkville,
Mississippi with Pastor Gregory Jones, Officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 from 1:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. at West Memorial Funeral Home, Starkville,
LC Robinson, age 81, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Europa, MS on March 6, 2015.Â Â LC was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Double Springs Baptist Church.Â
C. S. Barton, passed away on February 2, 2015 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS.Â He was a retired insurance salesman with Farm Bureau and a member of Adaton Baptist Church.Â He was also a member of Civil Air Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Michael Barton.
Archie Green Sowers, Jr, 86, died on Saturday February, 28, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson.Â Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Â Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to following the Parkway Cemetery.Â Rev. Rick Chambers will officiate.
Mary Ellen Rutledge Shook passed away peacefullyÂ inÂ her residenceÂ at Sunnybrook Retirement Center in Madison, Mississippi, March 1, 2015.Â She was born April 1, 1921, to William Madison and Ellen Bertha Jackson Rutledge of Troy, Mississippi in Pontotoc County.
