Mr. Rabel Eugene Jones, 89, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, in the Mississippi State Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel.
March 11th
Iola Prater Hogan, 94, died Friday, March 8, 2013 in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Second
Baptist Church, Starkville, with the Rev. Joseph Stone officiating.
Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at West
Memorial Chapel.
Burial will follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery of Starkville.
March 10th
Mrs. Eva Mae Carmichael Daniel, 87, of Starkville, died at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, on Friday, March 8, 2013.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church with the service immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Â
On March 6, 2013 Leanne Park Hemphill Fazio, wife, mother, grandmother, and musician of large and generous spirit, died at her home among family and friends. The funeral service will take place at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville at 10:30 a. m.

Mr. Stanley Warren Wiginton, 65, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville with The Very Rev. Lee Winter officiating.
A reception will follow at the church.
Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Irene Smith Willard Bryant, 83, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Hermitage Gardens in Oxford.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the Waller Funeral Home chapel with Dr. David Ard officiating.
Burial will follow in Cambridge Cemetery in Oxford.
Visitation will be held 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Waller Funeral Home prior to services.

Dr. Donald Wayne Zacharias, 77, President Emeritus of Mississippi State University, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Starkville. He was the beloved husband of Tommie Kline Zacharias, his wife of 53 years.
A public memorial service celebrating the life and service of Dr. Zacharias will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7 in the MSU Colvard Student Union’s Foster Ballroom.

Mr. Thad Gillis, 82, died of pneumonia in the early morning hours of Monday, March 4, 2013.
Private family graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Starkville Memorial Gardens with Mr. Gillis’s nephew-in-law, Judge Alan Highers, officiating.
Visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
Mr. Kenneth Wayne Robinson, 55, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 in Rockwell, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Beth-el Baptist Church in Starkville with Rev. Lee Brand Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow Beth-el Cemetery in Starkville.
Visitation will be held noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Century-Hairston Funeral Home in Starkville.

Mrs. Catherine Swayze Harris, 83, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at The Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville.Â
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville with Rev. Dr. Prentiss Gordon officiating.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Sunday, March, 3, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
