Mr. Jim H. Johnson, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at his residence in Maben.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday Jan. 21, 2013 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Foles and Brother Joel Hudson officiating.
Burial followed in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.
Visitation was held 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Larry L. Swindle, 69, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at Choctaw County Nursing Home in Ackerman.Â
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman.
The family will greet friends and relatives at 1:30 p.m. prior to service.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman is in charge of arrangements.
Willie Mae Mosley Ashford, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Oakland M.B. Church in Crawford with Rev. Ronald Cockrell officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Crawford.

Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael.

Mrs. Evelyn Clara Jones Peeples Hatcher, 94, died Jan. 14, 2013 at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville.Â
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla.
Visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 prior to services.

Mrs. Kathryn Isabell Quinn Lange, 95, daughter of longtime Ackerman community leader D.H. and Isabell Quinn passed away Dec. 15, 2012, in Kalispell, Mont.
Kathryn was cremated at her request, and private family services have been held.
