Lucy Anne Rhoades, September 2, 1949 - October 10, 2014, daughter of Frances Oakley and the late Stanley A. Rhoades. Survived by brother, Jack (Pam); brother, Andy (Nancy); sister, Mary Frances (Ken Smith); many nieces, nephews and extended family who loved her dearly.

Dorothy June Prisock Parish, 91, passed away on October 10, 2014 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS.Â She was a retired office manager with Templeton Motor Company in Starkville, MS and a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville.Â She enjoyed sewing, travelling, and reading.Â She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and square dance group.
Brenda Kay Hazel McKenzie, 59, passed away on October 9, 2014 at her residence in Sturgis, MS.Â She was a homemaker, quilt maker, and a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Clark; parents, Oliver Roscoe Hazel and Mildred Alice Wallace Hazel; and two brothers and one sister.
West Point, MS â€“ Mrs. Mabel Cantrell Simmons, 86, passed away on October 7, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Mrs. Mabel was born June 10, 1928, in Clay County, the daughter of the late Theopolis Taylor and Alma Reese Cantrell.
Larry Bost service will be on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 at Welch Funeral Home. He died at his residence in Starkville and 58 years old.Â
Prentiss Wayne Bolin, Sr. passed away on Friday October 3, 2014 at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon, Ms. at the age of 75. Services are on Monday October 6 at 2:00 pm at Brooksville Baptist Church in Brooksville, Ms. with Rev. Jay Spiller and Rev. Payton Myers presiding. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at Brooksville Baptist.
