YORK HARBOR, Maine — Mr. Perry Wesley Mullen Sr. of Vero Beach, Fla. and longtime resident of Starkville, 90, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at North Springs United Methodist Church in Sandy Springs, Ga.
Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Ga. with an informal reception to follow.
Mrs. Betty Herndon Putt, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Attala Nursing Home in Kosciusko.Â
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Starkville with Rev. Barry Corbett officiating.
Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in New Albany.
Mr. Johnny Irvin Chesser, 66, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at his residence in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.

Mr. Roscoe Lawrence Anderson, 102, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Starkville with Rev. Chip Stevens officiating.
Burial will follow in Live Oak Park in Crestview, Fla.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel in West Point with Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating.
Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery in Pheba.
Mrs. Jean Faulkner Bond of Decatur, GA., 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 after a fierce battle with ovarian cancer.
Mr. Willie F. Williams,64, died, Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 in Starkville at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Sixteenth Section Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville with Rev. William Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at Sixteenth Section Cemetery in Starkville.Â
