Bolin pitches SA to win over PCS

The wind was blowing in the face of Starkville Academy pitcher Hunter Bolin during his entire outing on Monday afternoon.

It didn't keep him from blowing pitches by the Presbyterian Christian School batters.

Bolin struck out 14 and only walked three as the Volunteers defeated the Bobcats 5-2 at home.

Loss motivates SHS early in the season

MSU sweeps pair from Saint Joseph's in baseball

It has become an almost automatic for the Mississippi State baseball team to walk off the field with a victory in the early stages of the 2013 season.

It happened twice on Sunday.

The Bulldogs knocked off Saint Joseph's 2-0 in the second game of a doubleheader to sweep the twinbill and the four-game series at Dudy Noble Field.
