Wier Drug Company was one of the oldest businesses in Starkville.Â It is also thought to be the second oldest drug store in Mississippi.
It was a hot Saturday afternoon on Aug. 13, 2011. My husband, Frank, our only daughter Elizabeth, and I headed to the Starkville picture show to see âThe Help.â We went to the 4:45 p.m. showing.
