As long as I can remember, my secret dream has been to experience a white Christmas – not fame, fortune or true love - just a white Christmas. I don’t ask for much.
For as long as I can remember, the winter holidays with my family are about eating and cooking. And napping. Last year my cousin launched a very serious challenge to my uncle’s status as Nap King.
Bro. Rondeze Harris has earned the title MASON OF THE YEAR 2010.
Santa was very good to the foodie in the family this year. I tried not to make every single thing on my Christmas list a food-related item.

WEIR –– The funeral for Megan Nicole Bramlett will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Weir Baptist Church with burial in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery near McCool.
The funeral for Mr. John Larry Ivy Sr. will be today at 1 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Wake Forest Baptist Church Cemetery in Sturgis.
EUPORA –– The funeral for Donald Ray “Duck” Pittman will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with burial in the Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County.
The funeral for Edwin R. (Babs) Jackson will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Starkville with burial in Memorial Garden Park.
The Rev. Clifton Curtis will officiate.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. –– The funeral for Cameron James Keith will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Baskin Chapel Of Brentwood Baptist Church with burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
