Bulldogs get another chance at the Aggies

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are trying to forget what happened two years ago at home in a women's basketball game against the Texas A&M Aggies.
It was the first time for Vic Schaefer to face his former school as the head coach at MSU and the situation did not go well at all.
The Bulldogs had a difficult time scoring and dropped an 81-33 decision to the Aggies.

For the final time, East and West Oktibbeha squared off on the hardwood in a regular season. 
Like the many games that preceded, Saturday evening’s contest was intense and in the end, it was West Oktibbeha successfully defending its home court with the double sweep.

Kelsey Jones may be just a sophomore, but she doesn't want to hear about it. 
On Friday night, Jones provided 31 points as she and the Starkville Lady Yellowjackets took on Madison Central in the final regular season Class 6A, Region 3 contest.

Third-year Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray hasn't found the Southeastern Conference so kind.
In his first two seasons, Ray and the Bulldogs only won seven league games – four his first year and three in year two. The Bulldogs have a chance to get to five wins today.

MSU in midst of murder's row

The Mississippi State women's basketball team is one game into a three-game murder's row in the Southeastern Conference.
After playing at No. 6 Tennessee last Sunday, the Bulldogs host No.14 Texas A&M this Sunday and then make the trip to No. 11 Kentucky on Feb. 12.
It hasn't been that long ago, two years to be exact, when that kind of schedule would be very intimidating for MSU.

The Mississippi State Bulldog was behind the dish for some nasty pitchers his first year in collegiate baseball. Left-hander Jacob Lindgren came out of the bullpen and featured a slider that broke more times into the dirt than batters got a piece of it.
