Report: MSU football to play at UMass in 2016

Mississippi State lost a 2016 football opponent when Tulane opted out of of a game that was scheduled to be played Davis Wade Stadium.
But it looks like the Bulldogs have replaced the Green Wave.
The Daily Hampshire Gazette reported late Sunday night that the Bulldogs will play at UMass in 2016. The game will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Sept. 24.

East Webster players Derek Jones and Jack Wilson, along with head coach Wes Johnson will represent the Wolveines at an All-Star game in Pearl Saturday.
Eupora player Rusty Johnson will also be on hand.

Leonard, Skinner, Price of SHS in all-star game

Starkville's Raphael Leonard, Josh Skinner and Taylor Price will play in the Northeast Mississippi Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star game at Itawamba Community College Saturday.
Leonard and Skinner will play in the boys Class 3A/4A/5A/6A game, while Taylor will compete in the girls game of the same divisions.

MSU basketball gets summer workouts underway

The Mississippi State men's basketball team officially got the Ben Howland era underway Thursday with the first summer workout.
Three freshman took part for the first time. Malik Newman, Quinndary Weatherspoon, Aric Holman all participated in practices and classes as their MSU careers started.

Bulldog Bougard puts Byhalia on map
