Alice Warren

The funeral for Alice Warren will be Monday at Word of Life Church on 3701 23rd Street in Columbus, Neb. The Rev. Don Owen will officiate.
Mrs. Warren, 82, of Columbus, Neb., died on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home and on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Word of Life Church.
Randolph was born on October 19, 1927 in Spokane, Wash. to George N. and Ruth (Morrison) Randolph. As a daughter to an U.S. Army colonel, Alice lived in many places throughout her childhood before settling in Starkville.
She attended the University of Alabama before enrolling in a famous artist course. She married Alcus Warren on June 16, 1951 in Starkville.
They lived in different locations throughout Mississippi and California before moving to Columbus in 1985.
Alice was a housewife and accomplished artist, specializing in portrait paintings.
She was an active member of the Word of Life Church whose life revolved around her family, painting and her faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Tim) Gould of Columbus, Neb.; son, Michael Warren of Shawnee, Kan.; granddaughter, Allison Gould of Columbus, Neb. and Amanda Gould of Columbus, Neb.; grandson, Matthew Gould of Lincoln, Neb.; sister, Ellen Weatherly of Starkville; sisters-in-law, Jerry Fitz Randolph, Katherine Lee, and Elsie Warren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alcus Warren; brother, Roderick Fritz Randolph; sister, Nancy (Bill) Randolph Parks; brother-in-law, Bill Parks and her parents.
