East Oktibbeha wins first game of season

THOMASTOWN – The East Oktibbeha Titans picked up their first win of the season in a big way by defeating Thomastown 64-0 on Friday night.
Several Titans had a hand in the victory as running back Marlon Fair rushed for 84 yards and three touchdowns, quarterback Chris Hunter rushed for 32 yards and two scores with 173 yards through the air and two more touchdowns. Kortland Petty caught one of those touchdown passes and had 76 yards receiving.
Defensively, Monte Horsley led the way for East Oktibbeha with nine tackles and three sacks, while Davalyn Bell picked off a pair of passes.
The next game for the Titans, who improved to 1-6 and 1-4 in Class A, Region 3, will be back at home next Friday against Edinburg.
