ENGAGEMENT Macon-Jefferson

Brenda Harris of Macon and Larry Cunningham of Columbus announce the marriage of their daughter, Shareka Nasha Macon, to Sgt. John Wesley Jefferson Jr, son of John and Lillie Jefferson Sr. of West Point.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Chris Macon of Michigan City, Ind., Nancy Macon and the late Lula C. Roby, both of Macon.
She is a 2003 graduate of Noxubee County High School, a 2007 graduate of Jackson State University and 2009 graduate of the University of West Alabama. She holds a master’s degree in counseling and psychology and is currently employed with Community Counseling Services in Starkville. 
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Nathaniel and Leona Jefferson and the late Elijah and Lorraine Ewell, all of West Point.
He is a 1998 graduate of West Point High School,  a 2000 graduate of Itawamba Community College and 2003 graduate of Delta State University. He holds a degree in graphic design.
He is a part of the 155th HHB 2nd/114 Army National Guard of Starkville. 
Vows will be exchanges at Charity Village in Crawford, on Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. All friends and family are invited.
