About the 2010 Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally
Mississippi State University invites you to join in the celebration of their 2010 Homecoming and Family Weekend that includes the Homecoming Parade, Bulldog Family Frenzy, and Pep Rally. Also, the Little Bullies Walk is included in the parade this year. The Walk will begin at the Hunter Henry Center for all children interested in walking with cheerleaders and Student Association members. One of our main goals is to encourage community involvement with the university's activities, and the Homecoming Parade is the perfect opportunity for everyone to have fun and support their Bulldogs!
The 2010 Homecoming Parade is on Friday, October 22, 2010 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The route begins at Nash Street and University Drive and travels East through the historical Cotton District and onto campus before ending at the Amphitheater. Parade participants will be asked to arrive by 4:30 p.m. to Nash Street. After the parade, the Pep Rally will be held in the Junction beginning at 5:30 p.m. Following the Pep Rally, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy the Bulldog Family Frenzy that will be held at the Amphitheater. The Bulldog Family Frenzy will consist of fun games, booths, jumpers, and a band for all to enjoy. The theme for this year's Homecoming is "Wrap it in Maroon and White".
