Augusta, Ga. — The memorial service for Johnny Carroll Henderson will be today at 3 p.m. in the Lumkin Road Chapel of Elliot Sons Funeral Home with military honors.
Mr. Henderson, 63, entered into rest at his home on Saturday, October 9, 2010.
He was retired from the U.S. Army/Air Force after 23 years of service.
He and his significant other, Bonnie Q Tatum, were lifetime members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No.649.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Diane Henderson, Michelle Renee (Raymond) Leclair and Dawn McGuire; one son, Shawn Patrick Henderson and his fianceé Juley Paul; one step-daughter, Renee Catherine Sparks; nine grandchildren, Amaya Henderson, Jylia Henderson, Troy Henderson Jr., Liam Henderson, Ashley Williams, Heather (Jonathan) Shuping, Raymond Leclair Jr., Joseph Leclair and Ashley Ann Badger; two great-grandchildren, Bailey Badger and Makenzie Spring; three sisters, Doris Lomen, Martha Kirk (David) Winston and Faye Kirk and two brothers, Leon (Patsy) Henderson and Steve (Deb) Henderson.
Elliot Sons Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
