Kent Gordon Hunt

Kent Gordon Hunt, 52 of Starkville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010.
Mr. Hunt was a member of First Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized at the age of 10. He was also the owner of Hunt’s Jewelry and an avid sportsman.
Kent coached Starkville Baseball Association Little League baseball for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Gordon and Garrett; parents, Jerry and Audie Hunt; brother, Mark Hunt, his wife, Rene, and their son, Davis, all of Starkville; and numerous nieces and nephews.  
Visitation is scheduled for today, Oct. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at First Baptist Church and will be conducted by Rev. Clifton Curtis. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Outreach Center or the Youth program, 106 E. Lampkin St., Starkville, MS 39759.
