The goal for high school basketball teams in the state of Mississippi is to reach the Big House, which is also known as Jackson's Mississippi Coliseum.
For the Starkville High School Lady Yellowjackets, they have reached that destination for two-straight seasons.
Starkville's girls made the semifinals of the Class 6A State Tournament in the 2014-15 season and returned to that position this past season.
Even though the Lady Jackets lost a tough 44-42 decision to Murrah in the semifinals, head coach Kristie Williams said it can still be considered a great season.
"We were able to make it once again to a final four, which is a tremendous honor in itself," Williams said. "It is a great accomplishment the girls can hold on to even though we were not able to go all the way."
