Maben Library receives outdoor facelift, minor interior renovations

October 24, 2010

The Maben Public Library recently received a few improvements that will beautify the facility.
These renovations were financed by the maintenance portion of the Starkville-Oktibbeha County Library System’s budget, according to library director Ginny Holtcamp.
Holtcamp said this work has been on the agenda for some time now, so it is exciting for the Maben Library to have the job to be underway and near completion.
The TNT Paint Company, Toby Turnage and Tyler Burgess, acquired the bid.
The repairs and resurfacing of the walls and doors provide an increased aesthetic value to the building and Holtcamp said the improvements help the facility much more inviting to the Maben Library patrons.
Library officials said this is the second job that TNT has provided for the library. Earlier this year, they painted the Maben Public Library sign, financed by the Maben Home and Garden Club.
