STURGIS — A memorial service for Patricia O. “Pat” Brandon will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. in Sturgis First Baptist Church.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Muncie, Ind. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brandon, 62, passed away Monday afternoon, September 20, 2010, in Muncie, Ind. She was born February 13, 1948 in Greenwood the daughter of C.K. and Mary W. (McMinn) Makamson and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from McKendree College in Lebanon, Ill.
Mrs. Brandon was a pastor’s wife, faithful Christian, and a former member of New Hope Baptist Church. Pat was also a registered nurse for several years.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, the Rev. Robert L. Brandon of Yorktown, Ind.; three children, Donna Herndon (Dennis) of Poplarville, Sam Brandon (Jamie), Carlinville, Ill., and Danielle Brandon of Sturgis; twin granddaughters, Hannah and Breanna Herndon; and a sister, Charlotte Makamson of Starkville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kenny Makamson; and an infant daughter, Connie Brandon.
Memorial donations may be directed to Gaston Baptist Church, P.O. Box 247, Gaston, IN 47342.
