Recent medical technology graduates honored

TUPELO — Recent graduates of the Medical Technology program at North Mississippi Medical Center include (front row, from left) Sara Beth Lewis of Hatley; Ashley Pace of New Site; Melissa Wade of Booneville; Joseph Rutland ofDorsey; (back row, from left) Mike Coln of Michie, Tenn.; Cassie Lang of Columbus; Marcella Harville of Corinth; and LaToya Jefferson of Starkville. The students are now eligible for national certification. Lewis and Lang received NMMC medical technology scholarships in memory of Paul Hamblin, who served as director of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Pathology Department from 1961-1970.
