Samuel E. (Edsel) White, 87, of Maben, passed away at his residence on Nov. 6, 2010.
Mr. White is survived by his wife Liza Harpole White of Maben; daughter, Dena Miller (Keith) of Tupelo; sons, Mickey White (Linda) of Maben; and Gary White (Dana) of Alva, Fla.; sister, Corrine Springer of Maben; brother, James White of Maben; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren who will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation for Mr. White was Nov. 7, at Welch Funeral Home in Maben from 5 to 8 p.m.
A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Providence Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Owen Gordon. Burial will be in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery.
He lived a blessed life surrounded by an extended family and many friends.
