WEDDING Babbitt-Felker

Mr. and Mrs. David Lanier Felker were united in marriage at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westminster, Colo., at 2 p.m. on July 17, 2010. A reception was held at the home of a family friend in Mead, Colo., following the ceremony.
The bride is Lauren Rebecca Babbitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Babbitt of Louisville, Colo. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Babbitt of Bloomer, Wis., the late Mr. Earl Enerson and Mrs .Norma Enerson of Hayward, Wis.
She is a 2003 graduate of Monarch High School in Louisville, Colo., and a 2007 graduate of Texas Christian University. She is currently employed with Cellular South in Jackson.
The groom, David Lanier Felker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rockey Felker of Starkville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tingle of Philadelphia, and the late Mr. Edwin Felker and Mrs. Mary Jane Felker of Brownsville, Tenn.
He is a 2002 graduate of Fayetteville High School Fayetteville, Ark., and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University.
He is currently employed as College Coordinator at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, while attending Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory taffeta gown featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline with an A-line silouette and a semi-chapel length train.
Serving as the maid of honor was Kristen Babbitt, sister of the bride, of Louisville, Colo.
The matron of honor was Shannon Babbitt, sister-in-law of the bride, of Frederick, Colo.
Bridesmaids were Shannon Conly, Tess Phillips, and Lauren Sparks, all of Dallas, Texas; Lynn Morgan of Ft. Worth, Texas; Lindsay Chinn of Denver, Colo.; Whitney Grey of Albany, N.Y., and Mary Catherine Hewitt of Oxford.
Serving as the flower girl was Avery Babbitt, niece of the bride, of Frederick, Colo.
The best man was Stephen Felker, brother of the groom, of Starkville.
Groomsmen  were Jay Felker, brother of the groom, of Stillwater, Okla.; Brian Sorgenfrei of Starkville; Erik Babbitt, brother of the  bride, of Frederick, Colo.; Heath Horn of Fayetteville, Ark.,  and Thomas Eastland and Sam Taaffe, of Jackson.
Serving as ring bearer was Hudson Felker, nephew of the groom, of Stillwater, Okla.
The pianist was Paul Cotugno of Westminster, Colo., and the soloist was Katy Hartman of Kosciusko.
After a wedding trip to Kiawah Island, S.C., the couple are making their home in Jackson.
