Donald Edward Saxon and Catherine Joy Fraser were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Set. 18, 2010, at Bay Gardens in Gulf Shores, Ala., with Dr. Alan W. McBride officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith A. Fraser. She is the granddaughter of the late Joy B. McClanahan and the late Ted H. McClanaha of Columbus; and Mr. and Mrs. William C. Fraser of Columbus.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry W. Saxon of Starkville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.D. Skinner of Ackerman; Mrs. Jewell Johnson of Martinez, Ga., and the late Edward Saxon of Augusta, Ga.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory crinkle chiffon A-line gown with a beaded waist.
The bridal bouquet featured a silver bouquet holder filled with multi-colored roses, delphinium and dendrobium orchids.
Serving as the matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Elizabeth Anne Yates of Columbus.

The groomâ€™s father, Larry Saxon, served as the best man.
After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, Ala., and Destin, Fla., the couple makes their home in Starkville. The bride is a CSR representative for Citizens National Bank. The groom is a sales representative for Southern Link in Atlanta, Ga.
