West Oktibbeha earns road shutout

THOMASTOWN – Quarterback Von Smith passed for 272 yards and five touchdowns to lead West Oktibbeha to a 45-0 victory at Thomastown Friday night.
Smith spread the wealth out to several receivers, including Dwight Quinn, Tiberious Lampkin, Aaron Brownlee and Drake Powell.
Quinn had two catches for 118 yards and a touchdown, while Lampkin caught three passes for 95 yards and a score, Brownlee also had three grabs for 29 yards and one TD and Powell had two catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns.
Shaun Fair rushed for 21 yards, but scored a touchdown.
West Oktibbeha coach Adam Lowrey credited his offensive line for its play as the unit hasn't allowed a sack for the third week in a row.
The Timberwolves improved their record to 4-1 and host Edinburg next Friday.
