William T. McKell

Visitation for William T. McKell is scheduled for Wednesday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville with the funeral immediately following in the funeral home chapel. 
Mr. McKell, 67, passed away on August 15, 2010 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  He was a retired supervisor of the Borden Plant. 
Mr. McKell also served in the National Guard, was a Mason, a volunteer with the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum and an avid American Indian archaeological enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye McKell.
Mr. McKell is survived by his daughter, Daphne McKell; his son, Tut McKell, both of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Jan Smith; and brother, Jim McKell, both of Starkville; granddaughter, Jordan McKell of Nashville, Tenn.; niece, Ginger Walker and nephew, Alan Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Palmer Home for Children or the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum.
