WOCHS celebrates Homecoming

West Oktibbeha County High School’s 2010 Homecoming celebration will culminate today with the 2010 Homecoming Court presentation to be held at 1 p.m. in the H.D. Morgan Gymnasium and the crowning of Mr. and Miss WOCHS Junior High and High School and the crowning of the WOCHS Homecoming Queen at 6 p.m. Right, senior maids on the WOCHS Homecoming Court, are, from left, La’Korsha Thomas, Shavonne Davidson, LaToria Evans and Attallah Lampkin. Homecoming festivities will end at the football game against South Leake at the L.M. Hamberlin Field. The Homecoming Theme is “Bonded by Black and Silver.” Alumni, family and friends are invited to attend the festivities today’s. A variety of dressup themes for Homecoming week have included Opposites Day on Monday; Pajama Day on Tuesday; Tacky/Nerd Day will be Wednesday; Western Day on Thursday; and Spirit Day on Friday. West Oktibbeha Elementary School has also participated in these events.
