In a day full of softball at the Starkville Sportsplex, both East Webster and Eupora recorded wins during the Lady Wolverines' Slow Pitch Softball Tournament.
Eupora dominated Nanih Waiya 14-0 in a game sandwiched between a pair of one-run losses.
The Lady Eagles lost to Noxapater 9-8 and dropped a decision to Louisville 14-13.
Eupora's record fell to 3-4.
"We're competing in every game," said Eupora head coach Trae Embry. "It's just a matter of us getting over the hump and finishing games."
Katelyn Rodgers, Allie Steadman, Kendall Gibson, and others all had strong offensive days for Eupora.
East Webster also defeated Noxapater 9-5 Saturday to improve their record to 2-2.
"Pretty good defense really helped us out," said East Webster head coach Dallas Ferguson.
The Lady Wolverines also played Weir to close out the tournament. Results were unavailable at press time.
