HOUSTON- Annie Jewel Reed Tabb, 95, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Easley and Bro. Roger Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation was held Thursday, May 24, 2012, and Mrs. Tabb will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tabb was born Sept. 23, 1916 in Oktibbeha County to Jessie Laffette Reed and Martha Ann Kimbol Reed.
She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very talented at crocheting and had a green thumb. She was Primitive Baptist.
She is survived by her son, Charles â€śBomarâ€ť Tabb (Helen) of Houston; two grandchildren, Caleb Tabb (Tina) and Tara Kilgore (Doug) of Houston; three great grandchildren, Katy Tabb, Reagan Kilgore, and Cohen Kilgore; three sisters, Bertha Hightower of Ackerman, Virginia Chavis (Melvin) of Mobile, Ala. and Earlene Miller of Eupora; brother, Charlie Reed of Moblie, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Boma Tabb; her parents; three sisters, Mittie Suber, Stella Mae Brooks, and Plummie Clardy; and two brothers, Bilbo and Lloyd Reed.
