Mr. Joel Ewing, 54, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center in Starkville.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at New Zion U.M. Church with Rev. Eddie L. Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1-7 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at West Memorial Funeral Home.
West Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ewing was born in Oktibbeha County and served as assistant basketball coach at Starkville High School.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Ewing of Starkville; and sister, Helma Williams of Starkville.
