EUPORA—Mr. Doyce Breland, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Choctaw County with Rev. William Weddle and Rev. Ralph Cain officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Breland was retired from Babcock and Wilcox in West Point. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Annice Henry Breland of Mathiston; daughter, Linda (Gary) Chesser of Starkville; sons, Doyce Warren (Barbara) Breland of Muskogee, Okla., Ricky (Kathy) Breland of Mathiston and Michael Breland of Tyler, Texas; sister Gola (Doug) Gilliland of Ackermanl; brother, Dale (Rena) Breland of Tupelo; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Festus and Naomi Breland; sisters, Johnnie Watkins and Mildred Henry; brother, Orville Breland; and great-grandson, Timothy Cole Pruden.
