Mount Salus 8

PHEBA – Taylor Coggins rushed for three touchdowns and the Hebron Christian School Eagles remained undefeated on Friday night with a 36-8 victory over Mount Salus.

"Our offensive line blocked well and we had our best execution of the season from all three of our running backs and our quarterback," Hebron coach David Foster said.

Coggins scored a pair of touchdown runs in the first quarter with one being from 20 yards and the other from 45 yards. The first attempt at a conversion was no good, but the second was good on a run by Will-Corben Rogers.

Rogers capped the quarter with a 49-yard scoring run, then he completed a pass to Ryan Moore for the 2-point conversion and Hebron led 22-0 after the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Coggin added his third touchdown of the game, a 5-yarder, and Rogers added the 2-point conversion run to increase the margin to 30-0 at halftime.

The final score for the Eagles came on a 99-yard interception return by Rogers.
