Mr. Michael Ross Montgomery, 40, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 in Starkville. 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Linhares officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Welch Funeral Home.
Welch Funeral Home in Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He grew up in Long Beach. He was a landscape designer with Mississippi Gardens and attended Broadmoor Baptist Church, Adaton Baptist Church and New Covenant Church. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University, with two bachelor degrees; one in Landscape Architecture and the other in Landscape Construction and Management.

He is survived by his wife, Haley Montgomery; daughter, Maggie Montgomery; sons, Travis and Elisha Montgomery all of Starkville; and sister, Peggy Gordon of Birmingham, Ala.
