Mrs. Clara Walker, 96, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct.12, 2012 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim Long and Brother Steve Griffin officiating.
Burial will follow at Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County. Visitation was held 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 11, 2012 at the Oliver Funeral Home.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by daughters, Ella Margret Latham of Starkville and Gloria (Johnny) Carden of Mathiston; sons, Devon (Wilma) Walker of Starkville, Douglas (Carolyn) Walker of Starkville, Glen (Lillie) Walker of Mathiston and Teddy (Betty) Walker of Starkville; sisters, Katherine Ramage of Kosciusko, Mildred Boothe of Harrisonburg, La. and Jean De St. Germain of Baton Rouge, La.; brother, Harold Murray of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Walker; daughter, Elizabeth Latham; and son, Ralph Walker.
Pallbearers will be Danny Walker, Mike Latham, Matthew Carden, Marc Carden, Broc Carden and Jonathan Walker.
