East Rankin has a high potent offense and are hoping it continues to thrive.
The Patriots (5-4, 2-2) host Starkville Academy (5-4, 2-2) Friday night at 7 p.m. with the Class AAA, Division II title on the line.
In ERA's last two wins they have scored 52 and 36 points respectively.
"They have got a very, very explosive offense led by senior quarterback Jacob Weldon," SA coach Jeff Terrill said. "He has got really good speed and arm. He does a good job of making something happen when it's not there originally."
Although they score a bunch of points, the Patriots were shut out last time on the field when Jackson Prep took a 41-0 decision.
ERA is looking to get revenge on last year's 18-7 loss in Starkville.
