Starkville Police Department investigators are searching for two men who they say have held pizza delivery employees at gunpoint on three separate occasions demanding money and other items.
SPD detective Kenny Watkins said in each incident the victim was making a pizza delivery and upon arrival to the destination was met by an African American male wearing dark clothing and either a hoodie or beanie. Another African American male appears and points a handgun, described as a revolver, to the employee's head asking for money, wallet and a cell phone. On each occasion the victims complied with the demands and were released, he said.
Watkins said one of the incidents was reported October 20, while the other two occurred early Sunday morning.
The individuals have been described as black males, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall, clean cut and between 21-25 years of age.
Watkins said he's been in contact with pizza delivery personnel from multiple area restaurants and has told them to report any suspicious activity so SPD can prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
The Starkville Police Department is asking for anyone with information that can assist in the apprehension of the people of interest to call the Starkville Police Department investigation division at 662-323-0393 or 662-323-4131 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
