Oktibbeha County Coroner charged with DUI

Lowndes County Sheriff's Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol District 4 Public Affairs Spokesperson Ray Hall have confirmed that Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Ross Hunt, 46, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Thursday afternoon and charged with his first DUI and careless driving.
According to a press release, Hunt, of 2389 Silver Ridge Road in Starkville, was on Highway 82 East in Columbus at the time of his arrest.
Hunt was released on a $1,075 bond. His court date is set for Dec. 11.
